Parents are the first and main educators of their children. The choice of Holy Family School should not mean abdication of their duties, but a commitment to a close cooperation with it.
Family and school, as areas where the life of children and youth grows, try to get the greatest possible coherence between the educational norms and their criteria of action.
Communication between school and family is essential: personal dialogue and other means of communication contribute to the development of the student, to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and to the prevention and solutions of conflicts.
The participation of families in the formative meetings, the festive and celebrations of the school are a vital element for the educational community.
School gates will be closed 5 minutes before starting the classes. Late comers will not be permitted to attend the classes without written permission from the Headmaster/Principal or the Coordinator.
Parents/Guardians are not allowed to remain in the school premises during school hours.
Tests and exams are compulsory. If due to illness one cannot attend the same, it must be reported to the Headmaster/Principal immediately and a written application with a medical certificate has to be submitted.

Parents are requested to sign messages, portions, timetable given in the Diary, Progress Reports, or any other similar documents when so required. Failure to do this may put their children to great inconvenience and render them liable to being sent home. Repeated late coming or forgetting to bring books may be treated in the same way.
Parents will not be permitted to the classrooms either to see their children or make queries with the teachers. Any communication (request or complaint) is to be addressed in the Headmaster/Principal only.
No student will be allowed to leave the school during class time with the servants or others, unless a letter from his/her parents/guardian is produced to the Headmaster/Principal or the Coordinator.
Those students who use school bus facilities should strictly come and go only by bus. If picked up by the parents a written note should be submitted in the office.
Request for leave of more than two working days must be submitted in writing & sanctioned by the Headmaster /Principal.
All queries regarding uniform, books, I.D. cards, bus facility, pullover, handbook are to be made at the school office only
Avoid sending birthday cakes and gifts on your children’s birthday.
Those parents who are unable to attend the Open Day must inform the class teacher before hand and no alternate date will be arranged by the school. Any clarification regarding open day must be made with the Headmaster/Principal.
All doctors’ appointments should be made outside school hours only.
Any clarification/information/message required by parents from teachers must be noted in the parent communication page provided in the handbook.
